Spinning mill Humidification and temperature control system.

Mill air conditioning is based on evaporative cooling plants. this depends on water temperature and low relative humudity. its showering system shopwers water through nozles either with centrifugal, multistage, hydraulic pump to produce fine water droplets which gives cooling effect along with Rh%. in summer a hot and dry air of about 42 deg c with low RH% can provide cool air but of water temperature (Wet bulb). cooling down below water temperature a chiller is needed. Similarly in winter water temperature is low but the department need to be hot. General Practices: Normally in Blow Room and carding the filter air is recirculated, this air is hot and dry. But in department where few machines are running has not much hot air to circulate in department. in Comber machines light bulbs are hanged to heeat the machine. Dry bulb (f) wet Bulb (f) Rh% Return air mixed, 87 66 24% supply gallery 75 65 57% Department 83 70 51% near detaching rollers, 85 69 42% As the return air has 24% RH, to increase its Rh% showering has to be started which has increased rh% by 57 but reduced the supply air temperature by 75 deg f. Now to increase the department's temperature heaters have to be installed. but when the return air will pass through showering then again the temperature will be dropped uo to wet bulb temperature. therefor the supply air temperature is reduced because of cold water spray. and by spraying hot water the supply air will be of increased temperature and with more Rh%. by using hot water the department heaters would not be needed any more.

In Spinning/weaving mill: #water and #energy #savings: Water Saving: #Evaporative Cooling Systems: In many spinning and weaving mills, conventional evaporative cooling systems #waste millions of liters of water each month as water is continuously drained and replaced to maintain required #humidity levels. This water loss can be mitigated by shifting to newly designed system, which has been designed to perform the same task with significantly less water. #Electrical Energy:(about 50 to 70 kw can be saved). Along with water savings, the system reduces the need for pumping large quantities of water. Conventional systems lift about 250 gallons per minute (gpm) of water, 90% of which returns to the tank without contributing to the process. This unnecessary water movement consumes electrical power, which can be saved by using a more efficient misting system. O-End mill: (a 18 kw pump can be replaced and 100 kw chiller's can be brought about 50 kw). This less water useage can also hel...
