In Spinning/weaving mill: #water and #energy #savings: Water Saving: #Evaporative Cooling Systems: In many spinning and weaving mills, conventional evaporative cooling systems #waste millions of liters of water each month as water is continuously drained and replaced to maintain required #humidity levels. This water loss can be mitigated by shifting to newly designed system, which has been designed to perform the same task with significantly less water. #Electrical Energy:(about 50 to 70 kw can be saved). Along with water savings, the system reduces the need for pumping large quantities of water. Conventional systems lift about 250 gallons per minute (gpm) of water, 90% of which returns to the tank without contributing to the process. This unnecessary water movement consumes electrical power, which can be saved by using a more efficient misting system. O-End mill: (a 18 kw pump can be replaced and 100 kw chiller's can be brought about 50 kw). This less water useage can also help in saving about 50% chiller's energy cost being used in cooling about 5000 Liters of water in storage tank. 100 kw chiller's can be reduced by 50 kw, and Such an innovation can help industries save vast amounts of water, benefiting both the environment and operational costs. Air conditioning: Supply air load can also be tried to reduce by about 100 kw. Yarn conditioning machine's energy can be saved by 40%. no matter running with steam or electric. Laboratory humidification system of 2 kw can also be replaced by 250 watts.
