Mill air conditioning is based on evaporative cooling plants. this depends on water temperature and low relative humudity. its showering system shopwers water through nozles either with centrifugal, multistage, hydraulic pump to produce fine water droplets which gives cooling effect along with Rh%. in summer a hot and dry air of about 42 deg c with low RH% can provide cool air but of water temperature (Wet bulb). cooling down below water temperature a chiller is needed. Similarly in winter water temperature is low but the department need to be hot. General Practices: Normally in Blow Room and carding the filter air is recirculated, this air is hot and dry. But in department where few machines are running has not much hot air to circulate in department. in Comber machines light bulbs are hanged to heeat the machine.
